PAPHOS APARTMENT - THE LOCAL AREA

Paphos town situated on the west coast of Cyprus enjoying all year round sunshine with ideal weather and fine temperatures, the highest being during mid-May to mid-September when it really sizzles.

Cyprus caters for all tastes from beach lovers, sailors and historians to national parks, countryside and mountains, along with many attractions to visit.

From January to March it is possible to ski in the Troodos Mountains.

Paphos is like a tale of two cities. The Old Town area boasts a history going back some 10,000 years, it’s winding streets contain shopping, restaurants and bars along side historical places of interest, The Tombs of the Kings, Museums, and the mosaics, all within easy reach of your holiday apartment.

The new town, which is a short drive away along the Tomb of the Kings Road, close to the Old Harbour which has a regular bus service along to Coral Bay. There are also bars, clubs, restaurants and shops which caters more for the younger holiday-maker.

Just a few kilometres down the road is the beautiful Coral Bay which can be visited by catching the local bus, or driving yourself. It boasts a ‘blue flag’ beach with beds, sun umbrellas and sea sports for the more active, along with a planned marina to be built near by.

	North from the city is a World Heritage Site, The Tombs of the Kings. Heritage sites are not to be missed and ancient ruins are yours for the exploring. 	Located in Kato Paphos near the harbour. The Mosaic’s consist of the House of Dionysos, the House of Theseus and the House of Aion. The mosaics are, considered to be the best in the Eastern Mediterranean and depict scenes from Greek mythology.		With the largest number of facilities and attractions in Cyprus, the biggest family rafting ride in Europe it's no wonder that Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark attracts over 100,000 visitors each year.
